INGREDIENTS

650 ml Rioja

350 ml black currant juice

8 juniper berries

1 grated tonka bean

50 g Demerara sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon flowers

250 g mixed frozen berries

Thaw the frozen berries.

Step 2

Step 2

Combine Rioja, black currant juice, thawed berries and juniper berries and bring to a boil at level 7. Stir in the cinnamon flowers and sugar.

Step 3

Step 3

Add the grated tonka bean and simmer for another 3 to 4 minutes. Pour the finished mulled wine into glasses.
