Why does my burner turn off as soon as I release the control knob?
If your burner switches off after releasing the control knob, it could be caused by one of the following issues:
Dirty burner openings
Cause: Soiled openings on the burner can cause the flame to extinguish when you release the knob.
Solution: Clean and dry the burner openings thoroughly to prevent this issue.
Insufficient pressure on control knob
Cause: The control knob may not have been pressed down long enough after ignition.
Solution: Press and hold the control knob down for a few seconds after ignition to ensure the burner stays lit.
