An oven with a hot air frying function uses a special combination of heating element, grill function and powerful fan. Hot air is distributed particularly intensively in the cooking chamber. The optimised airflow flows around the food from all sides and is actively drained out of the oven.

This creates crispy results when frying or baking – without a frying basket and with significantly less oil than with classic frying methods.

What is the difference between air fry and convection oven?

The Air Fry function is more than just recirculating air. While convection oven distribute the hot air evenly throughout the oven, Air Fry is specially designed for crispy deep-frying with hot air. In the Air Fry oven, the grill radiator, fan and air exhaust work more closely together. This allows excess moisture to be removed more quickly, ideal for chips, potatoes or snacks that need to remain crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

How do you use an Air Fry grill tray?

The Air Fry grill tray allows for optimal circulation of hot air in the oven and ensures crispy results.

  • Spread food in a single layer on the perforated tray without baking paper
